William David Howard and Mary Ellen Hess

William David Howard (1849-1919) married Mary Ellen Hess (1860-1916), daughter of Benjamin Hess and Mary Ellen "Polly" Garland Hess. William farmed in Moniteau County Missouri until about 1905 when he moved his family to Miami OK.  Both William David and Mary Ellen are buried in Williams Coal Creek Cemetery, Ottawa County, Miami OK along with their children; Barbara Ellen, Jasper Sylvester, Benjamin Lawrence, and Madie Florence. At the time of William's death in 1919, he was living with his daughter, Martha, and her husband John Tudor in Boonville, MO.

Benjamin Lawrence Howard (1889-1913) married Olive Cramer.
Dollie Mae Howard (1891-1913) married Ben F. Kabel
Madie Florence (1896-1908) Buried Coal Creek Cemetery, Miami, OK
Cnorah Henrietta Howard (1898-1979) married Ora Austin Montgomery.
