HISTORY
Washington T. 49 N. – R.26 Sec.9. Southwest of Higginsville, Mo. From Jct. 13 & MM: go west on MM to 4th road north. Pool farm on east side. Cemetery cannot be seen from the road.
The Elm Grove School was across the road north of the Pool Cemetery. The graveyard next to the school was known as the Elm Grove Cemetery and also as the McElroy Cemetery. When the McElroy farm was sold, the stones were removed to the Pool Cemetery.
